5 Things to Avoid If You Want to Beat Eczema

eczema cure

Trying to beat eczema can be a long and frustrating road as this pernicious disease cannot be cured, it can only be controlled. As with most things the biggest obstacle to progress is ignorance! Most people faced with the irritation and annoyance of eczema only seek one point of view, that of their medical provider. Unfortunately, most traditional doctors in Western countries only provide drug therapy for eczema. The drugs used such as topical steroids are not recommended for use on a child’s face and over the long term can thin the skin and the bones. Progress, however, can be made by natural means beginning with avoidance of triggers and irritants.

1) Avoid dry skin. Keep the skin moist with lotions and emollients. Many people fail to properly moisturize the skin. This allows eczema to take hold and increases the itch which leads to scratching and this leads to raw, open sores.

2) Avoid long hot baths. Long hot baths deplete the skins essential oils. Even if lotion is used after the bath it is difficult to replenish all the lost oils. Short baths are good to clean the skin of dust and bacteria. If you keep the bath short and the water lukewarm, you will not lose much skin oil and using lotion after the bath will have much greater success in keeping the skin moist.

3) Avoid synthetic clothing. Particularly in children, synthetic clothing can irritate the skin and contribute to eczema. Use cotton clothing where at all possible and you will minimize one more factor in eczema.

4) Avoid foods to which you may be allergic. This is easy said than done but essential to controlling eczema. Many of us don’t know that we may be allergic to certain foods and we need to have an allergenist do a skin test to find out to what we may be allergic. Together with a skin test, a food elimination test may be necessary to pinpoint the foods to which you may be allergic.

5) Avoid or reduce the stress in your life. Stress is the sneakiest aggravator of health problems. We live such stressful lives in our modern world that we don’t even notice it. It is just a part of modern life. It is also a major aggravator of eczema. Reduce your stress and you will improve your eczema.

Beating eczema is not an easy task, but taking action to avoid dry skin, long hot baths, synthetic clothing, food allergens and stress can go a long way to improving and eventually beating eczema.

Three Natural Ways to Beat Eczema

eczema cure

If you’re struggling with eczema you will know that prescribed medication is expensive and not always effective. There are dozens of alternative home remedies which are easy and cheap. The problem is that many of them simply do not work and turn out to be a waste of time. I have put numerous home remedies to the test over a long period of time and found three natural remedies that have been proven to work in the battle against eczema.

Kelp

In our everyday diet we consume many acidic types of foodstuffs. The acid builds up in the body and can trigger eczema outbreaks in those who suffer from the condition. One way to bring down the levels of acid in your body is to take kelp supplements. Kelp is a type of seaweed which has been found to contain vitamins, minerals and proteins all of which is good for the body. More importantly for eczema sufferers is the fact that kelp contains high concentrations of alkali which will help lower any excess acids in the body.

Vitamin E

Studies have been shown that Vitamin E is extremely effective in countering the microbes which cause the irritation at the heart of the itching and discomfort suffered by people with Eczema. Try to include foodstuffs that are rich in Vitamin E in your daily diet like avocado, spinach, various types of nuts and milk. You could also buy a Vitamin E supplement but first try to get the required amount in its natural form.

Green Tea

Green Tea is my personal favourite. It contains epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) which is an extremely potent anti-oxidant. This inhibits the growth of cancer cells and helps lower cholesterol. Drinking several cups of green tea every day cools the body down, both inside and out.

While Kelp, Vitamin E and regular cups of green tea are all extremely effective at keeping your eczema under control, they will not be able to eliminate it entirely. There is only one natural eczema remedy which eventually cured my eczema altogether and it happened in less than two weeks. Click here to find out how I finally beat eczema.

Discover the Beat Eczema Solution

eczema cureLet’s say you suffer from red swollen skin that unbearably itches. You scratch until it bleeds, to no avail. Of course, now you are too embarrassed to go out in public. You feel crawling in a hole and not coming out might be the solution.

Even worse-if that’s possible-you are more prone to bacterial and viral infections. That’s just what you need; more health problems. You think “Isn’t it bad enough that I’m already plagued with this heartbreaking skin problem.” No amount of tears washes it away.

Unfortunately for its sufferers, eczema is a chronic, recurrent skin disease. In fact, you may be wondering if you have it-since your skin seems to constantly itch.

Let’s find out if you’re an eczema suffer.

Here are some of the symptoms to look for.

Symptom #1 – Itchy Skin

You already suspect you might have eczema if your skin itches constantly. You scratch “like a hound” but it just doesn’t seem to do any good. No matter how much you itch and scratch, you just don’t get any relief. Of course, this insidious skin disease can affect just about any part of your body; however, you’ve probably noticed it usually occurs on the hands, feet, elbows, and legs. In some cases it appears on the genitals. Talk about ruining your sex life-now that’s sadistically adding more emotional pain on top of the distress you’re already suffering.

Symptom #2 – Red Patches of Skin

Now what do you think happens when you continue to scratch and scratch more? Your skin becomes even more irritated-which results in a red rash. Depending on the size of the area you’ve been scratching, the rash can vary in size from small to large. Once you notice the rash, you know you should quit scratching the infected area, but the itching is so intense you just cannot stop. Sadly, this leads to the next symptom.

Symptom #3 – Blisters or Dry, Flaky, Scaly Skin

Eventually, you might develop blister-like sores that may ooze clear or slightly discolored liquid. Finally, you notice dry flaky skin patches once these sores begin to heal.

Instead of oozing blisters, others experience dry, flaky, scaly skin. What has happened is the itching and scratching caused damage to the skin. New skin replaces the damaged skin.

Children and Eczema

Tragically, eczema quite often affects children. Infants suffer the symptoms of red skin with oozing cracks and small pustules. The lesions appear on the face, wrists, and folds of skin and nappy areas of the buttocks. As the child ages it shows absolutely no mercy, presenting itself as papules and thickened skin in the joint areas.

Fortunately, someone understands. In fact, she suffered from eczema most of her life-that is until she found a solution. Her name is Susan Clark.

She received amazing results from the cure. Her skin cleared up. Her open wounds healed. Much to her delight, her skin was smoother than it had been in years. In only a few weeks, her skin condition was gone.

I hope you realize nobody has to suffer from the physical, emotional and social pain of eczema. Susan Clark was a sufferer just like you-until she discovered the solution. Now, she no longer suffers from this terrible skin disease.

Susan couldn’t keep these miraculous results to herself. So she put together an easy to follow step-by-step guide to help other eczema sufferers get rid of it for once and for all. Happily, thousands of sufferers have used this guide with excellent results.

Susan’s “Beat Eczema” guide frees you from this life-diminishing skin disease in less than 2 weeks.

Beat Eczema Naturally With No Pills No Creams

eczema cure

Eczema is a skin condition which appears in the form of rashes on the skin due to an allergic reaction. The rash can become extremely itchy and if they are scratched they can become inflamed and red. Also the affected area might start to bleed so it’s better not to irritate the affected area of the skin by scratching. A lot of people all around the world have the skin disease eczema. Eczema can come about on anyone and anybody. Eczema is more commonly found in younger kids. If an adult is suffering from eczema he might have a history of this skin disease in his family.

Eczema can be treated naturally without the use of any pills or creams. This is usually a better course to take as the strong medications for eczema might cause harmful side effects. Most natural treatments are preventive in nature and target the source of eczema and help in curing it permanently.

There are some things which trigger eczema by irritating the affected area. The person who has eczema must learn to stay away from those things. Items such as detergents, household cleansers, soap, gasoline, aftershave lotions and turpentine can cause the skin to irritate. If a person has eczema on the hands he should be really careful while washing his hands with soaps. The affected person should only wash his or her hands with soap when it is really necessary. And try to use mild soaps so as to not trigger the eczema.

Even when a person is always trying to be cautious, there are times, you end up touching things which irritate the skin and trigger eczema. If the work you do involves you to put your hands in water for a long period, it may trigger eczema. The best way to prevent eczema from water is to purchase a pair of cotton gloves and also a pair of plastic gloves. They are easily available at all stores nearby. What you can do is wear the cotton gloves underneath the plastic ones. Cotton gloves help in soaking up the sweat from your palms. Also taking breaks in between to dry the palms is a very good idea as it helps removes sweat.

It is also good to always wear clothes made from cotton. Most people suffering from eczema feel a lot better when wearing cotton clothes as it does not irritate the skin. Also if you suffer from eczema and use soaps while bathing, you should definitely stay away from caustic soaps. A mild soap should be used instead. The person should also make sure that he uses the minimum amount of soap on his body and also makes sure that the water is warm. Also after the bath the person should pat the body dry with a towel mildly. Rubbing of the skin might cause irritation to the skin which will trigger the eczema. You should also make sure to apply moisturizer directly after the bath. This helps to keep the skin smooth and soft.
